2009 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition
The 2009 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition will open to the public on Thursday 12 November 2009 at 10 am and run until Sunday 22 November at the Mall Galleries in The Mall, London SW1. As usual, the exhibition will comprise works independently selected by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world - two artists, two collectors and two critics. Each selector is asked to include both invited artists and works from the open submission. Each selector's section is hung separately to emphasise its distinctive identity and the exhibition provides an unusual opportunity to see works by lesser-known artists hung alongside contributions from internationally recognised names.
